Water Sort is an addictive colour-matching puzzle game where you sort mixed water into test tubes until every tube contains a single pure colour. Each tube holds four layers of coloured water — your job is to pour them between tubes, one colour at a time, until order emerges from the chaos.

With 20 progressively challenging levels ranging from 3 colours and 1 spare tube all the way to 12 colours across densely packed puzzles, Water Sort rewards both intuition and forward planning. Controls are fully optimised for mouse and touch, so you can puzzle away on desktop or mobile with equal satisfaction. Every level is randomly generated, so no two playthroughs are exactly alike.

🎯 How to Play

• Desktop: Click a tube to select it, then click another tube to pour the top colour layer across
• Mobile: Tap a tube to select it, then tap a destination tube to pour
• Objective: Sort all liquids so each tube contains only one colour (or is empty)
• Pouring rule: You can only pour onto an empty tube or one whose top colour matches what you're pouring
• Undo: Press the ↩ Undo button (or keyboard Z) to take back any move
• Stuck? Tap ☰ in the top-right to restart or return to the menu

💡 Tips & Strategies

• Free up space first — On harder levels, empty one tube early so you always have a safe place to pour when you get stuck
• Work bottom-up — Focus on consolidating the colour that occupies the bottom of the most tubes — it's the hardest to move later
• Don't split unnecessarily — Pouring half a colour stack across multiple tubes creates future blockers; complete the move whenever possible
• Use Undo freely — There's no penalty. If a pour doesn't feel right, undo it immediately before the situation becomes worse
• Plan 2–3 moves ahead — Before each pour, check where the colour you're exposing will need to go next to avoid creating a deadlock
